Photovoltaics on roofs up to 6 kW

Applications for the new “Photovoltaic Roofs” programme have started!

The “Photovoltaics on Roofs” programme is an energy and economic offset for systems up to 6 kWp.

In response to the continuous increases in electricity, oil and petrol prices, the new special programme for the installation of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of domestic consumers, addressed to all households without membership criteria, with a limit of 6 kWp for the Interconnected System and Crete and 3 kWp for the Non-Interconnected Islands.

The offsetting contract signed with the installation of the photovoltaic system has a 20-year duration and a price of 87 € / megawatt hour.

Energy offsetting means the offsetting of the energy entered into the grid from a generating station with the energy absorbed at the autoproducer’s consumption facility. This refers to a generating station installed on the same or adjacent site as the consumption installation, connected to the distribution network through the same supply. In energy offsetting, the energy produced does not have to be synchronised with the energy consumed.

The price increases combined with the reduction in the cost of installing photovoltaic systems makes this project even more attractive to the consumer’s pocket.
